Rowen Art Group was formed by Rowen W.I. in 1956 with a
membership of eight, meeting once a week during the winter
months in the old W.I. Rooms at the Baptist Chapel, Rowen
under the tutorship of Mr. Adamson of Dwygyfylchi.
The Art Group, now independent, continues to flourish and has a
full membership of like minded painters, using various media,
meeting in the Memorial Hall under the Tutorship of Noel McCready,
a practising professional Artist.
The group present their paintings at an Annual Exhibition held
in the Memorial Hall during July, with a further exhibition held in the
