Clwb Hwyl is an after school club for children aged 3 to 14. It is open to children from any school.

We are currently open five days a week from the end of school to 5 or 5.30pm. Some sessions are in Ysgol Rowen and some are in the village hall.

The children are looked after by at least two responsible adults with experience of children, at least one of whom has NVQ3 in a related subject. Clwb Hwyl is registered with The Care and Social Services Inspectorate and is inspected by them regularly.

The focus in Clwb Hwyl is on fun and relaxation after a day at school. As well as having a range of toys to play with the staff organise group games, craft activities and sports. A snack of fruit, toast and cheese is provided around 4pm.

Staff are bilingual and use both Welsh and English with the children.

Occasional days of holiday club are available in the school holidays, depending on demand.
